The hot tub has an ‘out of order’ sign - most people will think this is temporary but I know this has been the case for at least 18months. The sun loungers on the beach are the exact same ones that have been there for the last 5 years or so, they are dirty, tatty and breaking up. The same goes for the gym, I went at 7:15am and there were no sweat towels available, all 7 or 8 people in the gym were similarly frustrated by this. If you want to go for a swim in the pool, don’t expect a towel to be available - they don’t supply enough clean towels to last more than a few hours. There are not enough staff, if you need anything from reception, be prepared to wait 30mins. They are no doubt paid far too low a salary. The staff are not happy, this is obvious from the moment you arrive. It’s simple - this hotel wants to take as much money from you as possible and make its costs as low as possible to line the pockets of the fat cats in the USA. But as with most large corporations, profitability is all that is important.
